Yamaha upright piano

Unfortunately, this delivery did not go as planned.

Driver drove into a bridge just before picking up the piano rendering the truck unusable. Enock then said they will send a replacement truck after the weekend. However they decided this was too expensive and then fixed the truck locally. Delay: 2.5 weeks.

The agreement was that the piano be moved in a closed truck. It seems like they changed trucks in Johannesburg and the piano came to me in Durban in an open Hyundai pickup van, covered with a tarp. This is completely unacceptable and a risk of rain damage I never signed up for.

Then there were only 2 people to offload and move the piano, which requires 4 people to move comfortably. My wife and I had to help offload and move, otherwise the offloading would not have been possible without injury or damage. Enock said the driver should have phoned local labourers to assist but didn’t. Again, not an acceptable situation.

They then requested I make final payment to Enock while they are there, which I did, but it feels strange to pay for the full quoted price when I did not get the service I signed up for.

The piano did arrive safely though without noticeable damage, for which I am grateful.

Wilbert and his team was very careful in moving our piano. They were prepared with blankets and a trolley and wrapped it nicely for the journey. Also handling the lift down from the truck with cushions was very thoughtful.

The service we received from Paul exceeded all expectations. He arrived punctually, even sending a notification when he left to advise on his expected arrival time, which we greatly appreciated. He approached the work with a highly professional and friendly attitude, and together with his equally impressive team, handled the packing of our piano with great care. He also proactively mentioned that he could assist with much-needed repairs. When we explained that we had been trying to sell the piano due to space constraints, Paul immediately stepped in and was able to secure a buyer for us at a very good price. His level of support throughout the process was truly exceptional. I would highly recommend Paul at any time. Thank you so much!
