    I am breaking the quote up into two possibilities and related costs. Also, not knowing your preferences and budget, I have for now gone for the cheapest options possible, which includes "open-bed" transport, which in the main will be used for the boxes and outdoor goods.

    1. Transport directly from Cape Town to Stanford

    The most-economical cost comes to R12'900 and includes a 4-ton closed-panel truck, accompanied by a 1.5-ton flat-bed furniture-transport vehicle towing a meshed trailer, as well as 4 of our crew-members.

    2. Transport from Cape Town to Airport Industria storage facility, then storage for two months, then transport from Airport Industria to Stanford

    The same vehicles and men will be used. For this plus 2 months' storage, the cost will come to R22'500 (plus a 100% refundable storage-deposit of R3'000).

    Factors that the price is based on:
    - Monday to Friday.
    - We have assumed that your move is from Cape Town CBD to Stanford Town (not "Stanford outlying / farms"). If the move is to / from another area, please advise so that we can re-evaluate the quote.
    - The list of goods as supplied and the driver will load based on that list. Therefore, if there are any additions, please inform us beforehand so as to provide you with a revised quote.
    - The assumption that there is easy access at both premises, i.e. ground-floor plus at most one storey, as well as wide enough steps, entrances and corridors. Please advise if this is not the case, because it may affect the price.
    - The cost excludes any requested / required dismantling, assembly and installation of any goods.
    - Packaging: Our vehicles have blankets to cover goods during transport. The cost excludes any further required / requested packaging.
    - Insurance on goods-in-transit and damage to property: Our price includes free GIT ("Goods in Transit") insurance, with an excess payment of R3’000 by the client (not transport-company) in case of a claim. For more comprehensive insurance, we find that the cheapest and fastest option is for our clients to arrange matters with their current insurance companies directly. In many instances the current insurance company will waive any extra cost, as long as they are aware of the movement.
