4+ bedroom house move

Christo assigned 1 day to pack and 1 day to move. They only packed half the stuff on day 1 so when it came to moving day they first had to spend 3 hours packing the rest of the house. As a result we only arrived at our new house at 5pm and then still had to unpack. By 9pm we said the movers must leave and we will unpack the rest of the boxes

They also broke a few items but nothing major and with a house of this size it is to be expected

Christo DID offer to come back 2 days later and finish unpacking but we declined because we wanted to get it finished ourselves

All of this could have been avoided because I did warn them that this was a BIG house. I think they underestimated the amount of packing

We were established in 2005 with a small bakkie and expanded to 4 trucks and two small vans, serving the whole Western Cape province, doing furniture removals, retail deliveries, boxes to distribution centres, pallets, and any dry goods. Also, do office removals and set up offices according to the floor plan. The owner is daily involved in business activities. All vehicles are enclosed and lockable with tracking and anti-hijack systems installed. There is no such thing as a small or large job.
