Patrick promised a 8 ton covered truck and this I confirmed with him the day before the move.
The team arrived on time 6:00 but with a Bakkie and trailer.
Patrick was to bring the truck at 10:30. When I phoned he then promised to come in 2 hours (12:30) but never arrived the whole day.
Because of this we were under a lot of pressure as the new owners were due to arrive at 12:00. Luckily, they were late as we only did the last trip at 15:00 just as the new owner arrived.
The team were really enthusiastic and worked really hard but were not really professional and several of my furniture items were scratched.
Response from Simba Power Logistics
Good day John. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Firstly, I want to apologize for the inconvenience caused. Secondly, the bigger truck was on the road from Western Cape and thought it was going to make it on time for your move unfortunately it arrived very late. The plan was to get the job going with a smaller truck while waiting for the bigger truck. I only heard about the scratches on your review today, I was in communication with you on the day of the move and my team left after the job was completely done including the assembling of all the beds and no report of scratches or damage of property was reported. I gave you a courtesy call and a whatsapp message to no response.
I sincerely apologize for bringing the smaller truck and that you complained about it on the day. However, there were no reports of scratches or damages to property. This report only came a week after job completion.
Above all, I apologise for the inconvenience caused.
Thank you
