My move-in date was communicated to Anchor Movers more than a month and a half in advance. Throughout the process, communication was clear, and all arrangements were confirmed again the day before the move.

On the day of the move, I was informed that the team would be approximately two hours late. I had specifically paid for two trucks and three helpers. However, they only arrived four hours later with a single bakkie, a small trailer, and just two helpers.

As a direct result of their failure to provide the agreed service, I missed my scheduled move-out time, breached contractual agreements with my landlord, and experienced unnecessary stress and inconvenience.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. The company failed to deliver what was promised despite ample notice and confirmation.

No comment as service was not as expected and discussed. Broken TVs,damages to goods,truck arrived in the dark to off load. Really not what I expected.

The movers were professional throughout the process and assisted me with additional labor when the move fell behind schedule. Although I had to pay an extra fee for an additional vehicle, it wasn't an exorbitant amount and they did not charge me for the extra labor.
I did however feel the team could have preempted the time delay and the high quantity of goods as I had communicated my moving needs when I had requested the quote. Nonetheless, I think they handled the situation professionally and I am satisfied with the end result.

My biggest concern was the care that was taken with my stored goods. Many things broke during the process. Although some of it wasn't entirely their fault - boxes had begun to break apart - I felt the movers could have been more careful when handling the boxes. I do accept though that breakage is part of the moving process. I am also satisfied with the way things were transported and the fact that there was minimal damage relative to the number of items that were transported. I am also impressed with the co-owners involvement as he jumped in in the second part of the move with absolute professionalism and care. I also noticed that the team works well together and that the head driver Donald has a great ability to problem solve.

I will gladly use this company again.

I highly recommend Anchor Movers! From start to finish, they provided outstanding service. They arrived exactly on time, packed all of my belongings with great care, and delivered everything safely. Not a single item was damaged during the move.

What impressed me the most was their professionalism, efficiency, and affordability. Their quotation was 30–40% lower than the quotes I received from other moving companies for the same distance and the same household contents, without compromising on the quality of service.

Adal-son and Lucas were exceptional. They arrived a little late due to an accident on the highway so completely out of their control. But when arriving, they started immediately and just got things done. They wrapped all sensitive furniture and appliances and loaded carefully. They did a fantastic job. Thank you!
