It will be a privilege and a pleasure to be of assistance. Depending on you transport-type preferences as set out below, we currently have a few openings Wed 29/3 and Fri 31/3, while next week Monday to Wednesday looks good.

Without knowing your item-list of goods to be transported, nor your preferences and budget, these are probably the options for you to choose from:

OPTION 1 at R4'100: One trip with a 4-ton closed-panel truck and 4 of our crew-members. Should, on the day, a further trip(s) with the same vehicle and men become required: R1'300 per trip.

OPTION 2 at R2'800: One trip with a 1.5-ton flat-bed vehicle plus 1.5-ton fenced trailer and 3 of our crew-members. Should, on the day, a further trip(s) with the same vehicle and men become required: R900 per trip.

Factors that the price is based on:
- Monday to Friday.
- We have taken it that your move is from Tokai area to Hout Bay. If the move is to / from another suburb, please advise so that we can re-evaluate the quote.
- We have guestimated your inventory-list. Wise Move only shows “Contents of 2 bedroom house”. If you want us to be more specific on the quote, please (a) phone me for a 5-minute discussion, to talk me through you item-list, or (b) send a more exact list, e.g. “1 x 2-seater couch, 1 x 1-seater couch, 1 x double-bed, 1 x 2-door cupboard”.
- If there is anything heavier than a standard fridge or a washing machine, we might need more men. Please advise.
- The assumption that there is easy access at both premises, i.e. ground-floor plus at most one storey, as well as wide enough steps, entrances and corridors. Please advise if this is not the case, because it may affect the price.
- The cost excludes any requested / required dismantling, assembly and installation of any goods.
- Packaging: Our vehicles have blankets to cover goods during transport. The cost excludes any further required / requested packaging.
- Insurance on goods-in-transit and damage to property: Our price includes free GIT ("Goods in Transit") insurance, with an excess payment of R3’000 by the client (not transport-company) in case of a claim. For more comprehensive insurance, we find that the cheapest and fastest option is for our clients to arrange matters with their current insurance companies directly. In many instances the current insurance company will waive any extra cost, as long as they are aware of the movement.

If you are comfortable with this estimate and don’t feel like extra administration by way of compiling an inventory-list:
- The R4'100 or R2'800 will be payable upfront.
- The further R1'300 or R900 per extra trip(s) can be paid in cash to our driver on the day.
