Skonza Logistics

Siya and team were fantastic! Super patient with my questions and got the job done! Thank you so much!

Goods arrived safely but comms were an issue throughout. Half the delivery was forgotten in Cape Town and needed special arrangements. I felt as though they were doing me a favour.

Goods were well taken care of and they helped fit my furniture through a pretty tight spot! I would have appreciated better communication though. The delivery took place 4 days after I was initially called and told it would be arriving within the next few hours. While the delay was caused by a reasonable inconvenience, I was not kept in the loop and so was left wondering what was going on.

Siya is very rude. He doesn’t know how to speak professionally. He requested extra money because the complex doesn’t allow truck to come inside which was also beyond my control. He left my bed and headboard outside my place after i gave him the money. He is very rude!
He delivered the stuff a day late. Said he will arrive at 12 and only arrived at 2 and blamed me for not being available when he was there. I regret using his services and wouldn’t recommend. HE IS VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. He’s emotionally and personal he literally wanted to leave my things outside and he was shouting at me over the phone, i had to end up apologizing even when i did nothing wrong. I will never be using this again.

Professional and on time. Thanks Siya and team

What an incredible service - Siya is brilliant! Communicated daily and went above and beyond to provide a very easy and professional service.
Thank you Siya. Lauren

Appreciated the assistance. Received well my stuff in the same condition it was sent in

Wow, I was so surprised, excellent personal service, so much more that the big companies give you. If I could rate it 7 Stars I would

Lots.of communication with Siya, the owner/coordinator. He ensured convenient collection/drop-off dates, the team wrapped everything very well and carried items when required up the stairs (too big for lift). Well done!

Great Company. Will certainly keep them on data base and use them again.
The professionalism starts from the top and clearly filters down to the team.
Great Job Siya,
Thank you

Siyabonga and his crew are absolutely amazing! From the first communication, to collection and delivery everything went smoothly. All my belongings were handled with care and arrived safely and intact. What an amazing team willing to go an extra mile for their clients. Superb! I highly recommend their service. Thank you guys. Moving is so stressful and you made it feel effortless!

I am so impressed the goods all in perfect condition. We are very happy. Thanks

I used this logistics company to transport a washing machine from Sasolburg to Cape Town. Overall, the service was good and affordable. They made an effort to accommodate my budget, which I really appreciated. The team that collected the machine from my mother was friendly, respectful, and very helpful.
Unfortunately, there were also some negative aspects. When I enquired 2 days after pick up about the delivery timing so I could arrange for someone to be at the house, I received a call where the communication felt unprofessional and unnecessarily aggressive. It made me quite uncomfortable. Only after I became emotional did the tone of the conversation improve.
Upon delivery, we also noticed that one of the washing machine’s feet was broken. I was told that it might have simply fallen out, but I find that unlikely, as it was not noted when the machine was collected and with inspection it is found to be broken. Can not be adjusted to be level.
In summary: good pricing and a friendly collection team, but communication and handling of items could be improved.

Siya is absolutely amazing. He’s accommodating & so pleasant to deal with & super helpful. I highly recommend his services!

I chose Skonza Logistics for my house move from Pretoria to Cape Town because they offered a competitive price, and because the reviews said they were fantastic, particularly their communication. Unfortunately, this was not my experience.

In terms of coordination, this was done by the business owner, Siya. The arrival to pick up my goods was delayed many many times and ultimately meant my farewell dinner did not go off as planned. I had to constantly follow up to find out what was happening. But the two gentleman who arrived and actually did the packing were friendly and helpful. However, what disturbed me most about this moving experience was Siya's unpredictable mood. It shifted from being positive and professional at one moment to then either refusing to talk to me or - on two occasions - calling me and ranting for 3-4 minutes without even say who it was that was calling, or giving me a chance to get a word in. And then it was back to being professional and helpful. It was the most bizarre behaviour I've ever experienced from anyone, let alone someone I'm paying to provide me with a service. It was unnerving, and made a stressful process of leaving my home and friends behind, even harder.

I have not yet unpacked all the 40-odd plant pots and 20-odd boxes that have since been delivered in Cape Town. But what I can see is that one of the five large plants in a pot has been completely mangled in the move, but will survive; and another has multiple branches broken. But everything else does seems to be fine.

I don't understand why my experience was seemingly so different to others'. But the bottom line for me is that I cannot recommend this removal company.

Really great experience overall! Communication was excellent - they were always responsive when I messaged, and their pricing was very reasonable. My kist arrived safely and was clearly handled with care.

The only thing to be aware of is that if you select flexible pickup and flexible delivery, the timeline can be quite long. In my case it took about three weeks, with the kist spending around two weeks in Cape Town before coming to Plettenberg Bay. This wasn’t an issue as I wasn’t in a hurry to receive it, but it was something I didn’t realise when selecting the flexible dates.

That said, I was very happy with the service and would definitely use them again.

Amazing service!!😻

Since me and Siya got into contact, I could sense that they are the people that were suppose to help us. We moved from Cape Town to Mpumalanga and everything went flawless. The moment Siya and his team arrived at our house, they did the planning on what will be loaded first to last, next moment everyone jumped in and started working, none of our furniture got damaged and we are grateful for the professionalism and the great service that was delivered. Thank you Siya and keep up the good work!

Very pleasent experience of something that is not lekker to do

Amazing service. Was wonderful dealing with Siya and his team. Speedy and quality service and communication.

There was an issue with revised inventory (did not reflect on the system which caused quotation issues) I felt Wise Move should have got more involved.
Time management communication when collecting could have been better, other than that - Siya was very professional

Goods were picked up and delivered as promised. Communication was clear. There is room for improvement in professionalism, but overall I am satisfied with the service provided.

Siya and his team are stars! Super good customer support, and will always make a plan for you.

Despite a few initial scheduling difficulties, the Skonke team pulled through and got our furniture to us within the desired time window from Cape Town to Komatipoort.

Skonza Logistics provided a great service moving a table from Cape Town to George, wrapping it and transporting it with care, and communicating promptly. Great experience, thanks guys! Will definitely be using again for any moving needs. Appreciate the good service. 🙏
