When i requested for a quote i have stated that my vehicle is a non runner and the pick up amd drop off location.

It was a challenge for my vehicle to be collected from the pick up location.
Even though we had to make arrangements to get the vehicle to a particular truck stop.
Please dont accept request for door to door if you are unable to deliver.

Car had a flat tyre upon delivery.

Petrus stayed in touch with us from start to finish, was happy to answer all our questions/concerns and offered personalized/"1-to-1" communication and status updates from the truck. This made the overall experience far superior than dealing with some of the bigger removals companies where you are just another one of thousands of clients and they shove you from one agent to the next... Petrus team (both from the shuttle service and truck) coordinated very well together as a team and were friendly & hardworking. Most importantly, they were able to transport all of our belongings right across the country - safely & within the expected timeframe. Trustworthy, competitive pricing but weak communication and very late on delivery

The quote requested was for delivery before 1st April.
Given the long weekend, I've called before to proceed, get confirmation that they can make it on time.

Collection was fine on Thursday, then no news the entire time. On the delivery date, I've asked where the car was, and they didn't moved it at all

At the end they promised delivery on Thursday the week after, I've waited until late at night to get told that they can't deliver. Finally decided to go on next day and get it myself at their depot.

I've been charged 8000zar for a clear delivery date. Get it 5 days late on a 4day job, that's not acceptable.
The delays cost me much more as I had to cancel work trip, spend another 2000zar in uber and change appointment for the car service.

I've proposed them to align their price on other quote for economic transport, they refused.

Late, expensive, no communication. Avoid at all cost.

I paid for the door-to-door service where I expected my vehicle to be picked up at my address but was rather surprised when Wise Move Uber'd do my address and then drove my vehicle from my residence to the main depot. That is not what I understand to be door-to-door!

Professional and efficient service. Would not recommend a shared load if you aren't willing to deal with delays. I was given a delivery window of four days (26-29 January), but only received my furniture on 3 February. Despite constantly checking in on the status of the delivery, I was kept in the dark. This process ended up costing me more money and stress than I expected. I would use this carrier again, but only for a dedicated load.

I will not use their services again. Petrus was friendly at the start of the process, but communication soon broke down.

We booked our furniture to be collected on the 14th and delivery was scheduled for the 19th of December.

There was no communication as to when they would arrive on collection day and on the day of we were notified when they would arrive. Upon arrival, they had sent a smaller truck to collect our load and unfortunately not everything would fit. Admittedly we asked to include an extra carpet, 5 extra boxes and an extra small fridge, but regardless of this the original load did not even fit. On top of this, the wrapping we had to pay for to have our TV wrapped was sent to another client and we were offered that our TV can be "put between two mattresses ". It was clear the driver and movers were annoyed by this point as they just wanted to get the move loaded and did not want to come back to wrap our TV (that we had to pay extra for). Petrus admitted they had sent a different truck to our home which caused the logistical issues we had.

By the 18th we had received no communication, again, regarding the delivery time. Upon enquiry we were told our furniture "might" be delivered on the 20th. I had clearly communicated that we needed our items by the 19th and I had followed up on this more than once, too. Our move was mid December to Stellenbosch, this means its peak holiday season and not having our items meant we were stranded with nowhere to sleep. We also had our 3 pets with us, making it even more stressful!

Petrus was unapologetic and unconcerned regarding this major issue we were now faced with. We luckily managed to get a room in an AirBnB for the night and accepted it for what it is.

However, our furniture did not arrive on the 20th and Petrus was unreachable on this day. For the 3rd time we were left in the dark as to what is happening. His colleague Sachin stepped in and informed us our load is in Mosselbay and would "maybe" arrive on the 21st. For the second time we had to try find accommodation for the night on short notice.

Luckily Sachin kept to his word and our items arrived early the next morning. Petrus was quick to notify me that I had to pay the balance of the money otherwise the items would not be offloaded. Understandably this is to ensure they are paid in full for their services, but given the service that was rendered until this point it was ironic that this was the only clear communication we had received!

Our relief was very short lived once we saw the state our furniture arrived in. Multiple items were damaged so badly, and our bed frame was broken in half. Some furniture items were disassembled without our consent, too. Petrus was unfased by this and merely asked me "how I packed these items" and advised I should put in an insurance claim. More admin and frustration for me!

This move ended up costing us more than what we had budgeted for and there was no remorse for the disposition he placed us under. Moving is never easy, and moving across the country is definitely one of the most stressful things to do. Getting a reputable mover is supposed to bring a moderate sense of security, but in our case we had added stress that could have been avoided with clearer communication, punctuality, and better care of our furniture.

I was very unhappy with this moved because it was scheduled for 08h00 and they only arrived at 15h00. I travelled from KZN to do this move and pre-planned activities around the move and was put under a great deal of pressure and stress because my time was limited. 😡😡🥵🥵🥵
